Luke 2:52 tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ "grew in WISDOM."
The mission of Faith Christian School is to "educate and train." The word "education" means "to present a formalized curriculum." The primary curriculum used by FCS is from Bob Jones University Press. With over eighty years of Christian educational experience, the BJU curriculum is among the nation's best. FCS also uses the Saxon Math System, which centers around drill and the absolute mastery of basic math skills. The primary key to educational success is COMMUNICATION. Faith Christian School incorporates Internet to achieve the highest level of communication possible. An InfoDirect account is established for every family in the school. Through this program, parents have 24 hour, seven days a week access to each of their student's grades, homework, calendar activities, sports schedules, and more. Progress reports, report cards and parent letters are all delivered to each family via the Internet. Parents can also contact teachers through e-mail. Parents are also notified of especially high accomplishments or areas targeted for improvement via e-mail messages generated from our teachers' gradebooks. Altogether, this system provides one of the greatest communication centers in education. Working together, the home and school can greatly impact the life of each student to be the success God wants him/her to be.
